Summary	<p>Renal&nbsp;glomerular endothelial cell (RGEC) is a type of cell that is specifically involved in the regulation of glomerular filtration. They are formed inside the filtration barrier, which is associated with the pathophysiology of many glomerular. Glomerular endothelial cells maintain the selective function of the glomerular capillary structure integrity and filtration barrier function, regulation of glomerular hemodynamics, anticoagulant and preventing thrombosis. The humoral factors secreted by renal glomerular endothelial cells can be used to regulate the function of mesangial cells, and promote the function of glomerular filtration. It can also secrete basement membrane collagen IV, and participate in the synthesis and repair of the basement membrane.Glomerular endothelial cell injury due to severe glomerular lesions can inhibit the vascular formation and lead to atherosclerosis, and also affect the development of mesangial cells and epithelial cells, leading to renal disease.</p>
