INTENDED USE
DAB Chromogen Kit is a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical staining and immunoblotting.
PRINCIPLE
DAB (3,3N-Diaminobenzidine Tertrahydrochloride) is one of the most important chromogens for peroxidase. In the presence of peroxidase enzyme, a dark brown precipitate will result.
REAGENTS

Chromogen A (1×) | 5mL*2 | Peroxide |
Chromogen B (50×) | 200μL | DAB |
STORAGE OF THE KIT
It is recommended to store chromogen A and chromogen B at 4oC. The expiration date of the kit is about 6 months.
ASSAY PROCEDURES
1. Preparation: Mix 1mL chromogen A with 20μL chromogen B thoroughly, and then add this solution to the sample. Observe under a microscope to verify the ending time. Generally, 10 sec to 15 min is enough.
2. Fully soak sample with distilled water to end the reaction.
3. Chromogen B becoming darker has no effect when use.
4. DAB is a suspected carcinogen. Please take appropriate care when using it.
