Heat Shock Protein 90a Multi-Species ELISA Test Kit
Heat shock proteins (heat shock protein, HSP) are a group of proteins rapidly induced by heat shock. An important feature in the biological world is that they are highly conserved in evolution. In recent years, HSP90a is the first one to be discovered and defined as the tumor marker by Chinese among more than 30 tumor biomarkers for tumor diagnosis worldwide. Because protein is homologous, the kit can detect the same protein in different samples from different species. In addition, according to the report in 2009 "American Academy of Sciences" (PNAS), the HSP90a blood levels is positively correlated with the degree of malignancy, the HSP90a level in tumor cells is 2-7 fold higher than that in healthy ones, which showed that this protein has a great potential to become a tumor biomarker.
