Sulfaquinoxaline (SQ)

Sulfaquinoxaline is a sulfonamide antibiotic of the sulfonamide class. It's a kind of veterinary medicine and can be used to treat coccidiosis in cattle and sheep, it's widely used in the veterinary field. Commonly used in combination with Aminophenol and Vitamin K. Sulfaquinoxaline is a kind of chemotherapeutic drug with antibacterial effect on many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Sulfaquinoxaline can affect bacterial nuclear protein synthesis, thereby inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria and coccidia. Used with Trimethoprim, the effect is stronger.
